We Believe That Access to High-Quality Theater Arts Instruction Should Be Available to Every Motivated Student, Anywhere in the World.

We help you realize your dreams and perfect your skills with professional-level arts courses, workshops and learning programs.

Founded in 2016 by Jeremiah O’Brian, a theater professor at the University of Southern California, EMERGE was created to expand access to high-quality performing arts training -- regardless of students’ geography, socioeconomic status or level of formal education.

We seek to develop and provide online arts training that empowers our students to pursue their goals, open their minds, master their discipline and realize their version of success. We want to eliminate the barriers to receiving an arts education.

EMERGE connects students with highly sought-after arts coaches, university professors and working artists in engaging digital classrooms. We know how to make online arts classes empowering and fun!

Our values -- excellence, integrity, access and creativity -- guide how we design every course that we offer. We’ve built EMERGE so that teachers, artists and students can collaborate supported by these ideals.
